Asus, Google launch Nexus 7 in India
Asus along with Google has officially launched Nexus 7 (2013) tablet in India. The tablet, which runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system and can be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat platform, will be available for sale in various outlets with price starting at Rs 20,999.
While the 16GB WiFi only variant is available for Rs 20,999, the 32 GB WiFi only model will cost Rs 23,999 and the 32 GB WiFi+LTE only model will be available for Rs 27,999. The Nexus 7 (2013) tablet comes with an IPS touch display of 7 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 323 pixel per inch and is powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro mobile SoC which is paired with Adreno 320 graphics and 2 GB RAM. The device offers a 5 MP camera with rear auto-focus and a 1.2 MP camera at the front. The tablet is powered by a massive 3,950mAh battery which ensures 9 hours of uninterrupted usage and also supports wireless charging. The tablet comes with 1 Year Global Carry In warranty.
