Micromax launches Canvas Turbo

Indian handset maker Micromax announced launch of its Canvas Turbo. The smartphone was launched through its Super Distributor for Kashmir Valley M/S New Khan Electronics.

Priced at Rs 19,990 the Canvas Turbo A250 is the first full HD smartphone from Micromax, the company in a statement said.

“The Micromax Canvas Turbo features a 5-inch full-HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) IPS display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589T (Turbo) processor along with 2GB of RAM,” it said.

The smartphone runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and comes with FOTA support. It features 16GB of inbuilt storage. The Canvas Turbo sports 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera and also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Canvas Turbo packs a 2000mAh battery. On the app front the Canvas Turbo includes BBM, hike, Spuul, Kingsoft Office, M!Security, M!Unlock, M!Live and Game-hub. Interestingly, Micromax's dedicated site for Canvas Turbo notes that the smartphone supports dual-SIM with one regular SIM and other micro-SIM, it said.
