Aircel promises BlackBerry 10 support in India

Research in Motion’s (RIM) next range of BlackBerry OS and devices will be out on January 30 and Aircel in India has reportedly confirmed that it will be launching the new range of BB devices within a few weeks after the global launch.
Tech2 which reported this, quoted Vodafone as saying that it will make an announcement only after the global launch.
Idea and Reliance GSM have already said they have no plans to launch BlackBerry 10 devices
.
Why is having subscribers so important to BlackBerry devices? Unlike other smartphones, that need only a regular data package, BlackBerry smartphones require a dedicated BlackBerry data plan— BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) for consumers and BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) for organisations and corporate email.
While Indian telecom companies are still waiting to see what RIM offers, in the US, the top three carriers Verizon Communications , AT&T Inc and T-Mobile USA have indicated that they would make RIM’s next line of products available.
To get a sneak peak of what RIM’s new phones and OS look like.RIM is hoping that BlackBerry 10 will help it win back some of the market share that it has lost to Apple and Android devices and ensure its survival.
